"Ruger" MBIS MBISS BIF CAN CH AM DC Camelot's Promise To Bakari SC HIC ROM was bred by Clayton Heathcock and Cheri Hadley of Camelot Rhodesian Ridgebacks in Martinez, California. He was born on January  1st 2002 in a litter of 7. His sire is the three time National Specialty BOB Winner- MBISS MBIS Ch Kimani's Blue Chip Image JC ROM(Chip). His dam, BIS Ch Camelot's Follow The Sun(Marley), took Best Opposite to BOB(Chip) at the 2001 National Specialty.  I am very excited about this handsome boys accomplishments. . I am increadibly proud of him. Ruger also loves lure coursing.and has earned his Senior courser and Herding Instinct title. Ruger finished his AKC Field Championship and became a Dual Champion.  His OFA hip screening has an Excellent score and he is clear of elbow dysplasia,  thyroid disease, and his patellas are normal. He is 27 1/2" at the withers and weights in at 104lbs. I Showed Ruger to his Championship and Don Rodgers showed him as a Special. What a team they are! Ruger is currently enjoying his retirement at home. Ruger is the only Rhodesian Ridgeback in history to have won Best in Show and Best in Field! Ruger also currently holds the Breed Win Record Ruger has become quite the STAR! Winning: #1 RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK 2006 BREED AND ALL-BREED and #7 HOUND #1 RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK 2005 BREED,in a tie with his brother/littermate Mohave "BEST IN FIELD" at the Cascade Coursing Club AKC Lure Trial in WA July 18, 2004 under Breeder Judge Ian Davies and Tari Parish. #3 RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK RRCUS 2004 BREED The "TOP TWENTY COMPETITION WINNER" at the RRCUS 2005 National Specialty Show in Perry, Georgia. "BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW"  at the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Canada National Specialty 2005 "BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW" at the San Diego Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Specialty 2005 "BEST IN SHOW" five times!.
